Client Support Services
BBPL LabLink and staff provide the tools and support to simplify and manage the creation,
collection, and completion of all laboratory orders, either one-time or standing. Clients
may communicate order additions or changes using LabLink,fax,notes,or telephone. Dedicated
staff are available and corporate headquarters and regional service centers to coordinate
collections and service special needs of each Long Term Care client.
Online Order Entry
Order tests online including ICD-9 encoding, diagnosis validity checking, and standing orders
support. Standing Orders reminders provide convenient notification when orders are about to
expire. Orders tracking allows users to monitor the progress and completion of all orders.
Receive test results online with automatic printout either immediately or on a client preferred
schedule. Clients may specify whether to receive partial reports as well as cumulative reporting format.
Generate on demand epidemiology reports to meet the needs of Infection Control activities.
Online tools are available to manage Medicare Part A patient stays, make adjustments to or re-direct
billable party and allow direct written communication with BBPL billing staff.
