HISTORY

Boyce & Bynum Pathology Laboratories, P.C. (BBPL) was founded in 1964 by John M. Boyce, MD and William R. Bynum, MD in response to physician needs to provide technology not available to small hospital laboratories. BBPL has pathologists living Mexico, Jefferson City, Sedalia, Springfield, Columbia, and West Plains; cytotechnologists and medical technologists in specialty areas. We are a full-service laboratory providing services in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, blood banking, molecular pathology, anatomic pathology, dermatopathology, cytology and histology. Our main reference laboratory is located in Columbia, Missouri, and is supported by outpatient laboratories in Columbia and Sedalia, Missouri, and Patient Service Centers in Fulton, Jefferson City, West Plains, Moberly, Springfield, and in Columbia, Missouri.
