Allergen, Shell Fish Profile IgE

Preferred specimen:	0.85 mL serum, gel-barrier tube. Plus 0.1 mL serum for each additional allergen. Multiple specimen tubes should be avoided. Remove serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection and transfer to a plastic transport tube.
Minimum specimen:	0.48 mL serum, plus 0.04 mL for each allergen ordered.
Notes:	Allergens included: Blue Mussel, Clam, Crab, Lobster, Oyster, Scallop, and Shrimp.
Unacceptable specimen:	Hemolyzed, icteric or lipemic specimens.
