Several BBPL pathologists have faculty appointments at the University of Missouri and have participated
in conferences, the medical student curriculum and in the training of both pathology and dermatology residents/fellows
for many years.
BBPL's professional relationship with the University of Missouri is excellent because of our shared
mission for education and clinical research.
Residents from the Departments of Pathology and Dermatology may schedule elective rotations with Boyce and Bynum
throughout the academic year at our Central Reference Laboratory, Boone Hospital Center or at Columbia Regional Hospital.
An application process is required in order to insure resident credit and to establish hospital privileges in advance.
Training emphasis can be customized to individual resident needs in all of the major areas of surgical pathology, clinical
pathology, molecular diagnostics, cytopathology and dermatopathology.
